Your Teeth Whitening Qestions Answered...

 What does the procedure entail?

The actually whitening procedure only takes 30 minutes, but allow yourself 45 minutes for rinsing and instruction.

The appointment starts with finding your current teeth shades on our reference guide. This will be compared again at the end of your appointment to determine your results.

A mouth guard is placed in your mouth to keep your lips back from the solution and keep your mouth open so the gums do not touch or remove the whitening solution from your teeth.

You will be given glasses to protect your eyes from the whitening lamp.

The whitening solution is then applied to the front of the teeth, and set with a UV light for 15 minutes.

You will then rinse, and repeat the process for another 15 minutes. When the procedure is finished, we reference your teeth again with the chart, and are able to see how many shades you have lifted.

I have Dental work, will it still work?

Caps, bridges, surface fillings and implants cannot be whitened.

It is possible to lift stains off of the dental pieces, however we are not able to guarantee matching your teeth to the colour of your dental pieces or the effectiveness of the procedure.

I have sensitive teeth, is this procedure ok?

We hear time after time how our clients suffer from tooth sensitivity, and while everyone is different, we have had incredible results without the dreaded sensitivity.

Our whitening product contains 18% peroxide.

Im under 18, can I still get my teeth whitened?

Clients must be age 12 and older to have the procedure done. Under 18, you will be required to sign a waiver and provide permission in signature form from a legal guardian. It is advised to check with your healthcare professionals first.

Im Pregnant. Is this safe?

While the UV and LED lamps used are only exposed to the mouth region, it is still advised to consult with your healthcare professionals before having any procedures done.

Do I need to provide anything?

All you are required to provide is a sink, and running water to rinse your mouth between and after the procedure. You may find it handy to have a cup in your washroom to aid in rinsing, and paper towels to dry the mouth guard.
